This SoulMusic.com reissue features a pair of out of print Nancy Wilson LPs, Can't Take My Eyes Off You and Now I'm a Woman, both originally issued on Capitol in 1970. While a pair of singles from these albums, "Can't Take My Eyes Off You" and "This Girl Is a Woman Now," managed to sneak into the Top 100, no hit material was pulled from them. The majority of the songs are cover versions made popular by B.J. Thomas, Leonard Cohen, Blood, Sweat & Tears, the Beatles, Bread, and Diana Ross & the Supremes. The albums have been digitally remastered with extensive new liner notes and three bonus tracks: "Go Away Find Yourself," "When You're Alone," and "I'm Gonna Make You Love Me." While these sessions contain pleasant adult contemporary pop tunes, the better choice would the two-disc compilation Anthology. ~ Al Campbell
