今ではTLCのT-Bozとの間にベイビーも生まれ、すっかりパパなイメージが定着してしまったマック・10。生まれながらのO.G.ではないが、アイス・キューブなどの交流から着々とギャングスタ街道に足を踏み入れて行くこととなる。彼の名を耳にし始めたのはアイス・キューブの93年作品『 Lethal Injection』に客演した頃からであるが、ダ・レンチ・モブとの絡みなどでさらにシーンに登場することに。そして念願のデビューを飾ることとなった作品が、この95年『Mack 10』だ。ローな演出はもとより、アイス・キューブ仕込の濃厚で極太なボムを連発し、“Foe Life”の代表曲を残すことに。96年にはアイス・キューブ、WCとの3ショットでウェストサイド・コネクションとしてもアルバムをリリース。
