Timco includes: Kevin Thomson (vocals, guitar). Recorded live at Klub Komotion where they live, in San Francisco, Timco mix sparse passages of musing bass, Ethel M.D.'s tom-tom laden drumming, and in-no-hurry guitar, with gnashing, buzzing sounds somewhere between Joy Division, Crippled Pilgrims, Leaving Trains circa 1983, and late-'70s/early-'80s San Fran legends the Sleepers. "Love Locked" and "July" are perfect examples of this esoteric approach, both lulling into face-slapping noise. Guitarist Kevin Thompson could try singing on-key just once (it wouldn't hurt, you know!), but as the instrumental passages are much more frequent than the vocal ones, that's not as much of a hindrance as it sounds.
