Work It: Dance = Life contains a selection of remixes of dance and pop hits, from Janet Jackson's Because of Love to Barry Manilow's "Could It Be Magic" to Frankie Knuckles' "Walkin'." It's a bizarre selection, to say the least, but its kitschiness is pretty entertaining and there are some remixes here that are quite good, including Motiv 8's reworking of Diana Ross' "I Will Survive" and the Perfecto Mix of Traci Lords' "Fallen Angel." ~ Stephen Thomas Erlewine
