Hip-hop producer DJ Pooh stepped from behind the mixing board to behind the camera to direct THREE STRIKES, his debut motion picture. Some of the West Coast's biggest hip-hop acts joined Pooh on the soundtrack. Snoop Dogg brings his Eastsidaz crew to the fracas ("G'd Up"), while E-40 ("I'm Straight") and Ras Kass ("West Coast Mentality") drop equally potent sonic bombs. There are also contributions from Sauce Money ("Chart Climbin'"), Total ("Crave"), and C-Murder ("Been a Long Time"). Other standouts in this rich collection include "Where Da Paper At," from Likwit Crew (featuring King T and Xzibit); "Where Dey At," from Silkk The Shocker; and "Let's Ride" from Choclair, one of Canada's hottest MC's. In THREE STRIKES, DJ Pooh put together one of the most impressive hip-hop soundtracks of the early 21st century.
