With his sophomore effort, Fiend drops another masterful No Limit release. Though STREET LIFE is peppered with a number of guest appearances--like Mia X ("Get in 2 It"), Magic ("Been Thru it All"), and Mystikal ("Ak'n Bad")--the majority of the tracks on this album showcase Fiend. Complete with influences from various musical genres--R&B, Jazz, Mardi Gras party music, and others--STREET LIFE is a blended mixture of Fiend's creative vision. "Trip to London," featuring Kage, is a definite No Limit head-banger, while the prodigious low end of "Mr. Whomp Whomp" should easily make it a favorite among those whose jeeps play to the masses. Other songs to check out are "I Was Placed Here", which has a spot appearance from Holloway of Ghetto Commission, "Waiting on God," and "Heart of a Ghetto Boy." This last track brings together the unique combination of Rhodes piano and alto sax.
