This time it's a soundtrack to a comedy called Foolish. The feature film features MP himself along with comedian Eddie Griffin. As you would imagine, it ain't a Master P film without a soundtrack and MP delivers the goods throughout the 18-track album. Featuring No Limit soldiers like Mia X ("Whatchanogood"), C-Murder ("Like A Jungle"), Mr. Serv-On ("Put 'Em Up") and a host of others, FOOLISH can more than hold it's own against other hit soundtracks. One of the hottest tracks is from the DPGC (Dogg Pound Gangster Click). OGs Snoop Dogg, Daz and Kurupt put the crew together again for a slammin' masterpiece called "Don't Be Foolish." In an interesting switch from the usual hip-hop soundtracks, there are numerous classic soul songs interspersed between the rap tracks. Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On," Kool & The Gang's "Jungle Boogie" and the Parliament/Funkadelic classic "Aqua Boogie" mix nicely with the kind of southern-flavored hip-hop that only MP can create.
