Rappers Billy Bathgate and Crooked Eyez, known as Steady Mobbin', thrown down on their debut release, BLACK MAFIA. Featuring guest appearances from most of the No Limit roster, BLACK MAFIA finds the duo more than able to hold their own amongst the cast of characters including Fiend, Silkk The Shocker, The Gambino Family, C-Murder and others. Snoop Dogg also adds his unique style to tracks like "Light Green and Remmy," and "Turn Me Up," which uses a sample/hook from the classic Grandmaster Flash cut "The Message." One of the album's most interesting songs is "Ghetto Life." The track cleverly incorporates a sample from Marvin Gaye's "Mercy Mercy Me" and features guest appearances from Master P and Snoop Dogg. Other tracks to catch are "'Bout Dat Mess" (Mia X, Mac, Mystikal, Fiend and M.P.), "Still Hustlin'" and "Niggas Like Me," which has Mystikal and Silkk The Shocker.
