ピアノの巨匠アート・テイタムがパブロに残したソロ・ピアノ音源を完全収録した6枚組ボックス。125にも及ぶ収録曲でテイタムの天才的な演奏にうっとり。4トラックは1956年8月にハリウッド・ボウルで行われたパフォーマンスでその数ヵ月後にテイタムはわずか46歳で他界。本作は1953年～1955年までの録音で元々は13枚組のLPボックスでリリースされていたもの。ベニー・グリーンによるエッセイもブックレットに掲載。

Recording information: Hollywood Bowl, Hollywood, CA (12/28/1953-08/15/1956); Radio Recorders, Hollywood, CA (12/28/1953-08/15/1956). Editor: Danny Kopelson. Photographer: Phil Stern. These 125 selections were mostly recorded between late 1953 and early 1955. 4 of the tracks were recorded at the Hollywood Bowl in August, 1956, just a few months before his death at age 46. Eric Miller, who produced this set, sequenced the songs as they were recorded, rather than as they were originally released, shedding some light on Tatum's "thought processes". The package contains a 14-page booklet, with an authorative essay by Benny Green.
