ポスト・クラシカルの元祖ヨハン・ヨハンソン。アイスランド限定でリリースされていた作品が待望の国内盤化。デンマークの映像作家Max Kestnerによるコペンハーゲンについてのドキュメンタリー映画のサウンドトラックとして元々製作された、ストリングス・カルテット、クラリネット、チェレスタ、キーボード、そしてエレクトロニクスというより小編成で制作された作品。 (C)RS

ポスト・クラシカルの元祖ヨハン・ヨハンソン。アイスランド限定でリリースされていた作品が待望の国内盤化。デンマークの映像作家Max Kestnerによるコペンハーゲンについてのドキュメンタリー映画『Dromme i Kobenhavn (Dreams in Copenhagen)』（2009年）のサウンドトラックとして元々製作されたもの。近年はオーケストラとともに作った作品が多かったですが、本作はストリングス・カルテット、クラリネット、チェレスタ、キーボード、そしてエレクトロニクスというより小編成で作られました。近年隆盛をみせるモダン・クラシカルと呼ばれる作風をいち早く取り入れた2002年のソロ・デビュー作『Englaborn』におけるミニマルな静寂のサウンドをよりメロディアスにしてエレクトロニカ的要素を多めにしたような内容。
