Ronnie Dyson's first and second (of three) albums for the Columbia label are combined on this release from the U.K.-based Expansion label. The More You Do It, issued in 1976, features the number six R&B hit "The More You Do It (The More I Like It Done to Me)." "(I Like Being) Close to You" was a minor follow-up hit. The following year's Love in All Flavors, containing the A-sides "Don't Be Afraid" and "Ain't Nothing Wrong," as well as a cover of Daryl Hall and John Oates' "Sara Smile," didn't fare as well. Dyson fans should also seek Real Gone's similar treatment of the singer's two Cotillion albums, Phase 2/Brand New Day, released two years after this set. ~ Andy Kellman
