The first in an ambitious trilogy of albums from Green Day, Uno! finds the trio reuniting with producer Rob Cavallo and breaking away from the rock operas of American Idiot and 21st Century Breakdown. Leaving behind narratives and melodrama, the group indulge in their fondness for garage rock and power pop, not to mention their impish sense of humor. They're so loose they wind up diving headfirst into the pseudo-parody of "Kill the DJ," a single that doubles as the group's first stab at disco-rock, a good harbinger for the variety on Uno! and its subsequent sequels Dos! and Tre!

初期のグリーンデイの作品には劣るかな…代わり映えのない一枚。まぁジャンル上、冒険しようがないですからね。でも、安心して下さい、グリーンデイサウンドは健在してますよ！1曲目なんて曲の構成が完全にアメリカン･イディオットです笑 3作同時リリースですけど、その中で1番カッコイイ！他の2作品…は…正直微妙でした…ちょっと無理したかなっていう印象。

ウノ!｜CDアルバム
‪大名盤American Idiot、その次作21st Century Breakdownと立て続けにコンセプトアルバムを出し、いちリスナーとしては、ちょっと…そういう“壮大なやつ”はもうよくない？と感じていた矢先に出してくれた本作。GREEN DAY還ってきた！！この後ドス、トレと続く3部作のうち第1章ですが、純粋にポップパンクを掻き鳴らすこのウノ！が3部作の中でダントツで一番良い。100点！‬
