This self-titled, six-track mini-album is the debut release from Irish singer/songwriter Ryan O'Shaughnessy. Auditioning for the 2012 edition of Britain's Got Talent, O'Shaughnessy captured the public's and judge's attention with his love song about an unnamed female. After being put through to the final, O'Shaughnessy had to choose between Britain's Got Talent and The Voice of Ireland - in which he'd also reached the final live series as a contestant - eventually opting for Britain's Got Talent, where he finished fifth overall. The EP features his audition-winning song, "No Name".

UKの人気オーディション番組「ブリテンズ・ガット・タレント」のシリーズ（決勝は2012年5月）から出てきた、アイルランド・ダブリン出身、19歳のSSW、ライアン・オショネシーのデビュー・アルバム。ダブリンにある音楽学校の現役学生ということで、作詞作曲はもちろん、ギター、ピアノ、サックスも演奏する器用さが売り。カバー曲を披露する参加者が多いオーディション番組の中で、彼は自作曲を数多く披露し、片思いの女の子に捧げる曲をアコギの弾き語りで歌ったりと、爽やかな佇まいで注目を集めた。今作に収録される「No Name」「First Kiss」がまさにオーディション中で好評を博した曲で、そのソング・ライティング力は辛口でおなじみのサイモン・コーウェルも唸らせた。演奏、歌、どれをとっても実直でストレートであり、アイリッシュの19歳らしい素朴な魅力にあふれたSSWが誕生した。
