商品の紹介

Two years after Love Crimes, Canadian hard rockers Harlequin followed up their debut album with One False Move, coming up with a much more solid effort, lyrically and musically. With three releases attaching themselves to radio, "I Did It for Love," "Heart Gone Cold," and "Superstitious Feeling," the spotlight shone a little brighter on them, thanks to some catchy hooks and invigorating rhythms which gave this album a faster pace than its predecessor. The drums are hit harder, the chords are played quicker, and the keyboard work is toned down just a notch, allowing this five-piece band to bark out some enjoyable rock tunes. Unfortunately, the other eight songs are milquetoast efforts, raising the stakes only slightly from their first album, but presenting any curious fan with an appropriate outline of their sound. ~ Mike DeGagne|
