This live set from the unique British singer-songwriter comes hot on the heels of her second studio album Ceremonials and makes her one of the select few artists to have performed on MTV's celebrated acoustic show in the new millennium. Recorded in New York, the album features stripped-back reworkings of tracks from both of her studio albums as well as versions of the classics "Jackson" - on which she is joined by Queens of the Stone Age's Josh Homme - and "Try a Little Tenderness".

2月の初来日公演でも物凄い声量で観客を驚かせてくれたフローレンスの初ライヴ作品だ。今回は弦楽隊やコーラス隊を加えた変則編成で、ジョニー・キャッシュ&ジューン・カーターのカヴァーではジョシュ・オムも参加。そもそもスタジオ作品でもハープやベルを多用するなど生楽器の鳴りを活かしているから、プラグを抜いてもそれほど違和感はないが、彼女の歌声や言葉がより生々しく突き刺さる。Disc - 2の映像も神秘的。
