Whimsical indie pop purveyors Hospitality make their self-titled, full-length debut with a collection of songs exploring youth, their home base of New York, reflections of the past, and the future. Produced by Shane Stoneback (Vampire Weekend, Sleigh Bells) and Hospitality multi-instrumentalist Nathan Michel, the album revisits some past material from the band's self-released 2008 EP alongside new compositions featuring singer/guitarist/pianist Amber Papini's intimate, esoteric songcraft.|

マージ発の新人バンドでこのジャケットってだけでもピーンときたが、やはりコイツら、おもしろい。人懐っこいのにどこか変。変なのにやたら愛くるしい--そんな実に絶妙なバランス感覚の陽性ストレンジ・ポップを披露している。ロリッているのか、幽玄的なんだかわからないアンバー・パピーニ嬢の不思議ヴォーカルにも表れているが、ひねくれたことをさも天然のように聴かせるのって凄いセンスだよな～。
