U.K. high-gloss indie quartet the Futureheads return with Rant, their first record since 2010's The Chaos, and surprisingly, an entirely a cappella album. Rant sees the band revisiting songs from their earlier catalog with instrument-free four-part harmonies, as well as offering up covers by such a wide scope of their favorite artists as Sparks, Kelis, and Black Eyed Peas. While vocal harmonies have never ranked high on the list of attributes to the Futureheads' sound, frontman Barry Hyde has said in interviews that "A Futureheads fan who doesn't get Rant is not a Futureheads fan.
