This Original Album Classics release bundles the second, third, fourth, and sixth albums by R. Kelly: 12 Play (1993), R. Kelly (1995), the two-disc R. (1998), and Chocolate Factory (2003). Released in 2012 by Sony U.K., it consists of the four albums as they were originally released -- in standard jewel cases and digipaks -- packed inside a basic cardboard sleeve. The presentation is dull, but the set sells significantly cheaper than the sum of the four albums purchased individually. From artistic and commercial standpoints, these albums are among Kelly's most successful releases and have more to offer beyond the popular singles. ~ Andy Kellman|
