伝説的バンド 「スペースメン3」の中心人物で、全英4位を記録し20世紀の音楽史に燦然と輝く傑作『宇宙遊泳』（97年）を生み出した、あのスピリチュアライズドが3年ぶり7枚目となるニュー・アルバムをリリース！英ラグビー出身のジェイソン・ピアースによるソロ・プロジェクト、スピリチュアライズド。05年には病に倒れ生死をさ迷うも、奇跡的に回復。08年には約5年ぶりとなる6th『ソングス・イン・A&E』をリリース。その後サマーソニック08と単独ツアーで来日し、ファンを熱狂させた。そんなスピリチュアライズドが、英人気レーベル＜Double Six＞に移籍し待望の7thアルバムをリリース！ウェールズ、LA、レイキャビクで2年間に渡りレコーディングし、その後自宅で仕上たという本作は、“自分の愛するロックンロールの全て包含した作品”と本人も太鼓判を押す仕上がり。数々の伝説を生みだしたロックンロールの天才による、2012年を代表するであろう感動作が、遂に世に放たれる！

2月に来日したばかりの英国が誇るサイケデリア大王が、4年ぶりの新作を発表。ライヴ時も大部分がここから披露されていたが、静と動が交錯する彼らならではの轟音サイケデリック・ロックンロールは頑固なまでに不変。しかし、同時にこれまでにはないような親密さを兼ね備えているのが特徴で、それは中心メンバーのジェイソンと実娘とのデュエット曲“So Long You PrettyThings"のイントロに集約されている。
