混沌とした時代に平和をよびかける、魂のコンポーザー、カール・ジェンキンス。新作は、2部からなる壮大な合唱作品で、テキストには平和のために尽くしたガンジーやルーサー牧師、ダライ・ラマ、ネルソン・マンデラにマザー・テレサなどの言葉を引用。コーランと聖書の言葉に加え、Terry Waites新テキストも採用。演奏はロンドン交響楽団、合唱は、ベルリン放送合唱団にバーミンガム市ユース・コーラス、そしてイギリス全国からの参加者からなる1000人の大合唱団。壮大な合唱とオーケストラの指揮は、もちろん、カール・ジェンキンス本人による。
