For cost-conscious Latin music fans, this Selecciones Fania compilation by the legendary Cheo Feliciano contains 12 of his biggest hits. It's not all of the singles, but it's a very solid representation; it features all the biggies, including "Esto Es el Guaguanco," "Juan Albanil," "Anacaona," "Lamento Guajiro," "El Raton," "Trizas," and quite a few others. What's more, the sound on this comp is truly remastered; compared to earlier Fania discs, it's remarkably full and clean. For those who already have the 30-track, deep-catalog double disc Senor Sentimiento, you can skip this because you already have virtually everything contained here. For the salsa or Feliciano newcomer, this is an excellent introduction to one of the greatest singers in the genre. ~ Thom Jurek
