タガの外れまくっただらしない演奏と、極上にメランコリックなヴォーカル--そうだ、これを待っていたんだ。オリジナル・メンバーで再結成を果たしたUSオルタナ界屈指の奇形ポップ・バンドによる、8年ぶりの新作。2004年の解散前には結構タイトな音を鳴らしていたが、そんなことは忘れ去ったかのように雑多で弛緩したローファイ・サウンドに回帰。それでもメロディーは実に美しい。ぐしゃぐしゃなのに泣けます。
