Working with composer Paul Von Mertens, who wrote the string arrangements for 2004's Smile, Wilson pays homage to the animated Disney films of his youth by reinterpreting songs from "Dumbo," "The Jungle Book," and "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs." Some of the tracks are performed as complex instrumentals, while others are given the full Beach Boys treatment, drenched with layers of sunny harmonies and high-flying falsetto vocals that are as classic as the Disney catalog itself.
