デビュー作が約30万枚のセールスを記録し、日本でも大きな注目を集めたアシャ。ライヴ盤を挿んで届けられた2作目は、その才能が大きく開花した充実の内容に。前作は社会的なリリックが目立ったが、先行シングル”Be My Man”が普遍的なラヴソングであるように、良い意味で肩の力が抜けたスッピンな歌詞が多く、心なしか歌声もいっそうまろやかになった印象。ストリングスを配したジャジーな”The Way I Feel”、浮遊感のあるビートがカッコイイ”Dreamer Girl”、お得意のレゲエ調やバラードなどヴァラエティーに富んだ楽曲をしっかりと歌いこなしている。ポップなサウンドと芯のあるヴォーカルが響き渡る、普通に良く出来た作品。アフリカ云々、レベル云々は抜きにして、まっさらな状態で聴くべき！
