“ウォール・オブ・サウンド”の完成期ともいえる1962年から64年に、フィル・スペクターのプロデュースによりレコーディングされたアルバム6作品が初CD化。当時全米TOP20入りしたシングルが8曲含まれるなど、アルバムそれぞれは“ウォール・オブ・サウンド”が表現した世界そのまま、モノ音源から最新リマスターを施し、LP当時の紙ジャケット仕様で、豪華コレクターボックスに収録。またボーナス・ディスクとして文字通り入手困難なBサイド集も。当時のフィル・スペクター・サウンドの歴史を詳細に解説したブックレット(英文)付き。
