フォークの巨人ウディ・ガスリーが2012年で生誕100周年を迎える。それを記念してルー・リード・バンドのベーシストとして『New York』『Lulu』にも参加したロブ・ワッサーマンが、ガスリーの残した歌詞を元にトリビュート盤を監修。ルーはもちろんマデリン・ペルーにピート・シーガー、故クリス・ウィトリーと、ジャンルレスなメンバーが集結。圧巻は冒頭ヴァン・ダイク・パークスのインストで、その美しさには言葉も出ない。
