Producers: The Cryptic Corporation, The Residents. Recorded live at Parco Space Part 3, Tokyo, Japan on October 30, 1985. This set was recorded during the Residents' 1985 13th anniversary world tour. The variously masked band members are joined by the Residents' longtime cohort, guitarist Snakefinger (whom they also backed on his own CHEWING HIDES THE SOUND and GREENER POSTURES). The band's THE BIG BUBBLE album (part of their "Mole Trilogy") met with enough success in Japan to warrant two weeks of shows in that country, which in turn led to their first American East Coast tour. This set draws widely from their considerable output to that point, with selections ranging from their THIRD REICH 'N' ROLL album to THE AMERICAN COMPOSER SERIES ("Man's World" was from the latter project's GEORGE AND JAMES release). The Residents mounted other tours subsequently, and continued their extensive studio work.
