In 2010, the U.S.-based Wounded Bird label reissued Rose Royce's third and fourth albums -- Strikes Again! (Whitfield, 1978) and The Rainbow Connection (Whitfield, 1979) -- individually with bonus tracks on neither. A year later, the U.K.-based Edsel reissued the albums once more, this time in one two-disc package with a pair of bonus cuts: the non-album A-sides "Ooh Boy" and "Pop Your Fingers." Thanks to "Love Don't Live Here Anymore" and "Is It Love You're After," these two albums were among the group's most popular releases, along with the preceding Car Wash soundtrack and In Full Bloom. Casual fans remain best served by The Very Best of Rose Royce, first released by Rhino in 2001. ~ Andy Kellman
