スタン・ゲッツのコロムビア期の作品をセットにしたCD8枚組セット。リターン・トゥー・フォーエヴァーを結成したばかりのチック・コリア＆スタンリー・クラークに、トニー・ウィリアムス、アイアート・モレイラと共演した1972年『Captain Marvel』。ジョアン・ジルベルトと『ゲッツ／ジルベルト』以来の共演を果たした1975年作『The Best Of Two Worlds』。1980年代になるまで発表されなかった1975年録音のハード・バップ作品『The Master』。ジミー・ロウルズと共演した素敵なイラスト・ジャケの1975年録音『The Peacocks』。1977年モントルーで録音した『Another World』。スヌーピーのイラストのジャケがかわいらしいラロ・シフリンと共演した1978年作『Children Of The World』。1979年オランダ録音作『Forest Eyes』の7タイトルに、“Woody Herman Carnegie Carnegie Hall 40th Anniversary Concert”“ Montreux Summit”“Havana Jam”の音源からセレクトしたボーナスCD1枚が付いた8枚組。今となっては廃盤で入手困難となっているタイトルも複数入っている貴重コレクション！
