Recording information: 1979-1999. This serviceable Tito Rojas compilation includes some of his better-known material, plus a few savvy tunes from his tenure with Luisito Ayala and the Puerto Rican Power Orchestra ("Amor de Mentira," "Quiereme Tal Como Soy," "Tres Mujeres," "Amor no se Puede Apurar," and "No Puedo Prescindir de Ti"). Nice stuff; however, it may be a necessity to have all Rojas' (and the Puerto Rican Power Orchestra's) albums in their complete form. Nevertheless, the cost-weary consumer should try this for his or her own sake. Like many salsa compilations, there is a feeling of indifference to the whole in favor of the album's mainstream parts. ~ Jose A. Estevez, Jr.
