デュオ・ダコールはエームス・レーベルなどに録音がある新進コンビ。メシアンやカルミナ・ブラーナ（ピアノ伴奏版）などで評判です。このアルバムは演奏者たちによる編曲でストラヴィンスーの「春の祭典」に挑んでいます。2台ピアノ版は今までもありましたが、打楽器も入ることで、更に多彩な表情が出ています。ティンパニなど入る場面では迫力が違いますし、ピアノに木琴などが重なると意外に可愛らしい感じになったり、と面白い効果が続出です。カップリングはこの編成の名曲バルトークです。
