史上最強ロック・デュオ、ザ･キルズが3年振りとなる4枚目のアルバムをリリース！ 前作『ミッドナイト・ブーム』で一躍ロック・シーンの頂点に躍り出たロック・バンド、ザ・キルズが、スタイリッシュでクールなR&Rアルバムを完成させた！本作のプロデュースは、メンバーでギタリストのジェイミーが手掛け、前作と同じエンジニアの元、ミシガンでレコーディング。無駄を削ぎ落としたソリッドなロック・サウンドが生まれた。ミックスではアデル、エイミー・ワインハウス、フランツ・フェルディナンドを手掛け、グラミー賞を複数受賞している敏腕トム・エルムハーストが参加。エモーショナルで重厚なサウンドを完成させた。本作はジェイミーとアリソンのたった2人でギター、ピアノ、メロトロン（オルガン式サンプラー）など全ての楽器を演奏。前作で極めたアップテンポなナンバーから、吐き捨てるようなヘビーでクールなナンバーまで収録。

'Blood Pressures' is the fourth studio album from post-punk duo The Kills. Following up 2008's 'Midnight Boom', Alison Mosshart and Jamie Hince produce music brimming with attitude and style, typified in single 'Satellite', which is packed full of Hince's fuzzy guitar lines and dual vocals, creating an intense, smoky atmosphere.
