ブルーグラスは高い演奏技術を要求されるものの形式的な縛りの少ない音楽でその意味ではジャズにも似ている。中国へのツアー経験もありブルーグラスと中国音楽の混じり合う実にユニークな音楽性を持つアビゲイル・ウォッシュバーンのソロ名義2作目。名匠タッカー・マーティンのプロデュース、ビル・フリゼールも参加し、より深くブルーグラスと中国音楽が融合した入魂作ではあるが、これは自分の人生の中にあるものの自然な表現にすぎないのだろう。しなやかな感性が光る傑作だ。
