Clinic returns with the aptly named Bubblegum, a surprisingly gentle set of songs awash in strings, harpsichords and dulcimers. 医療用マスクを装着したリヴァプールのサイケ集団が、この2年ぶりとなる新作でネクスト・ステージへ。ワウワウやヘンテコなエフェクトを多用することで、鋭い切れ味を残しながらもノスタルジックで柔らかなグルーヴを体得しているのが最大の特徴。レイドバックしたアコースティック・ギターも摩訶不思議にウネリまくりだし、こんなクリニックに行ったら脳ミソをドロドロにされそうで怖い。
