If anyone were to lay claim to being grindcore's ambassador to the world, it has to be Pig Destroyer and Agoraphobic Nosebleed mastermind Scott Hull. THIS COMP KILLS FASCISTS is a Hull-curated exploration of the current grind and power violence underground. Nothing on it is less than seething in its intensity and sheer brutality. Bands with names like Chainsaw to the Face and Total F@$#*ing Destruction rip through a varied collection that also includes down-tuned, sludgy dirges such as Agents of Satan's "Skrote Skin Mask" and Brutal Truth's punishing "Forever in a Daze." An excellent jumping-off point for the curious.
