近年はカヴァー集が続いていたテンプテーションズだが、本作は6年ぶりのオリジナル盤だ。古参のオーティス・ウィリアムズやインプロンプ2の片割れなどが制作にあたった楽曲は、ステッパーズのようなミッド・グルーヴのトラックを中心とした上質なものばかり。ラップやオートチューンの導入もあるが、彼らの重厚かつ濃厚なヴォーカル&ハーモニーを前にしては、それも些細なこと。この風格と貫禄に跪くのみだ。
