2008年にリリースされた“60年代編”に続く、ストーンズのSHM-CD紙ジャケ・ボックス第2弾が登場！ベロ・マークでお馴染み、ローリング・ストーンズ・レーベルからリリースされたアルバムの中から、初紙ジャケ化6タイトル（!）を含む、スタジオ・アルバム全14タイトルをセット。LPサイズ・ボックス（Box in Box仕様）、ボーナス紙ジャケとして、『スティッキー・フィンガーズ』（スペイン盤デフジャケ）、『女たち』（UK盤カラー･ヴァリエーション×3種）、『アンダーカヴァー』（ステッカー貼付US盤）をセット。US盤シュリンク上に貼付の告知ステッカーが存在するタイトルについては、アートワーク・ステッカー仕様にて封入。

たしかに０９リマスターで音は進歩した（昨年プラで出た際、近い将来紙ジャケで再発されるから今はいいや、とした私の予想も見事的中した）が、紙ジャケ自体は評判が悪い「ＡＢＢスペシャル・エディション」に劣る。紙質や風刺漫画「ＤＩＲＴＹ ＷＯＲＫ ＯＵＴ」の対訳がない等。忠実とはいえＬＰが存在しない「ＳＴＥＥＬ～」以降のＣＤブックレットを無理やり解体しなくても。

やはり出たか。昨年のリマスター盤買わなくてよかった。ストーンズ側の許可が下りないわけではなく商魂かぁ。汚ないなぁ。前の八作はダブるがやはり買ってしまうだろう。一体何回売り買いを繰り返せばいいのか？ただ発売中止になる可能性もなきにしもあらず…かな？
