旧ソ連の伝説的バリトン歌手パヴェル・リシツィアン（1911-2004）はアルメニアの血をひき、端正な容姿ゆえ俳優としても活躍した才人。非常に太くたっぷりした声質は独特で、似た人がいません。チャイコフスキーがとりわけ絶品で、これを聴くと他の演奏が物足りなく感じられます。声楽界のゴロワーノフと申せましょう。
