ロマン・ポランスキー監督の奥様であり、ジョニー・デップと共演したこともあるフランスの女優、エマニュエル・セニエ。2007年にロック・バンドのウルトラ・オレンジと『Ultra Orange & Emmanuelle』を共作してミュージシャン・デビューを飾ったが、今度はソロ名義でのアルバムが届けられた。ガレージ・ロックのサウンドに乗って歌った前作が<素肌に革ジャン>な色気に溢れていたとしたら、ケレン・アンをプロデューサーに迎えたこちらはフレンチ・ポップの魅力に満ちたシックな仕上がり。メロディーは儚くも美しく、ストリングスやホーンのアレンジがセニエのウィスパー・ヴォイスを優しく包み込む。イギー・ポップとポランスキーという、渋すぎる男たちとの<共演>にも注目。
