This is a stroll through the Great American Songbook, one that's expanded just enough to allow in Burt Bacharach, who does feel right in this setting, and it's a sweet blend of sincerity and cheer, with the Philbins trading words of love as easily as they nudge each other in the ribs. Just You, Just Me will never be seen as a showcase for showstopping singing but it's full of personality, which is certainly enough for any fan interested in hearing this couple on record.
