'Two Dancers' is the second album from experimental British indie band, Wild Beasts. The follow-up to 2008's 'Limbo, Panto' again displays lead singer Hayden Thorpe's ability to effortlessly switch between falsetto and a harsh growling tone, while the musicianship is often dirty and frantic, yet always superbly executed. Wild Beasts provide a musical experience that is difficult to compare with anything else; a good thing for indie fans everywhere. Singles include 'Hooting And Howling'.|

昨年ドミノからデビューし、フォールズらと共に〈ニュー・エキセントリック〉の一派として注目されたバンドが、早くもニュー・アルバムを完成。ジュニア・ボーイズやリカルド・ヴィラロボスに影響を受けたとのことで、より前面に押し出されたビートとメランコリックで陰りを帯びたサウンドは、劇的で風変わりなヴォーカルも相まって、どこか幻想的な印象を残す。着実な進歩を感じさせる理想的な2作目だ。
