This three-CD set features all three volumes of Kool Keith’s Lost Masters, a series that rounded up demos, remixes, rare tracks, and other whatnot. The series places in the lower half of the man’s huge discography, but there’s some high-quality strangeness to be found among these tracks, including Volume One’s great “Girl You Know” and Volume Two’s club track “Keep on Jumpin’. Fans who haven’t bothered with the series 'til now can pick up the whole thing in one go, and seeing as how the original releases didn’t have decent liner notes or worthwhile cover art, they won’t be missing much. ~ David Jeffries
