IT'S NOTHING PERSONAL refines the new, slightly more melodic sound that the band began to explore on it previous, self-titled outing. That album debuted the contributions of lead singer Myke Terry and here he continues to reinvigorate the Massachusetts-based quintet with his strong singing and surprisingly listenable, clear cookie monster growls. Lead single "Broken Body" is driven by a catchy Layne Staley- chorus, a rolling riff and machine-like double kick drums, while "Dead End Lovesong" rides a syncopated, almost funky groove.
