OF JUNE tells that story in sound. Released under the name Owl City, Young crafts warm, wide-eyed indie pop against electronic backdrops. Young's confessional lyrics and emo-tinged sensibility keep things plenty human; in fact, the usually cold and calculated sound of electronica is all but dissolved in the songwriter's open-hearted approach.
