Warm and Cool serves as a primer of instrumental electric guitar stylings, from the 50s rumble of Link Wray, twang of Duanne Eddy and surf of The Ventures right up to contemporary, white-light experimental feedback. These influences are filtered through Verlaine's moody grasp of urban paranoia.
