名ダブ・アルバム4枚組ボックス（ヨーロッパ限定商品）第2弾登場！「DISC1～3」は、70～80年代を代表するジャマイカのダブ＆バッキング・バンド、アグロベイターズの名ダブ・アルバム。「DISC 1」は、75年にトミー・マクック＆ジ・アグロベイターズ名義でリリースされた『BRASS ROCKERS』、「DISC 2」は、76年ににリリースされた『RASTA DUB』、「DISC 3」は77年に、こちらも名バンドのレヴォリューショナーズと共にチャンネル・ワンで制作した『AGGROVATORS MEETS THE REVOLUTIONARIES AT CHANNEL ONE STUDIO』と、全てが激名ダブ・アルバム。単体としても重要度の高い名作ばかり。そして「DISC 4」は、アグロベイターズと並ぶ重鎮バンド、アール・チナ・スミス率いるソウル・シンジケートが、76年にプロデューサー、ナイニー・ジ・オブザーヴァーと共に制作した大傑作ダブ作品で、レア作品の『SLEDGEHAMMER DUB』。これも単体としてだけで十分に価値の高い超名作。
