Robert Burger, whose ace work on keyboard instruments has adorned discs by Laurie Anderson, John Zorn, and Lucinda Williams (among many others), throws his hat into the ring of film music with CITY OF STRANGERS. Burger gets to stretch out on a new set of instruments and he also gets to engage his eclectic nature--his background in jazz, rock, folk, and avant-garde is employed to full advantage on this set of vignettes.
