Selections like "Moraga" and "Larkspur" have a little bit of playful, Peanuts-worthy charm, and there are some lightly-brushed ballads to break your heart ("Half Moon Bay," "Tamalpais"), but ALHAMBRA is primarily easy-going, mid-tempo stuff, anchored in the phenomenal and assured musicianship of Ron Burger, Greg Cohen, and Ben Perowsky.
