A remarkable release from the recently resuscitated ESP Disk imprint, REJUVENATION is the result of a collaboration between three gifted and sympathetically minded musicians: saxophonist Louie Belogenis, drummer Charles Downs, and bassist Joe Morris. Though the Flow Trio is very much a democratic affair, Belogenis's remarkable Pharaoh Sanders-like sheets of sound dominate the proceedings, though at times he's nearly upstaged by Joe Morris's furious improvisatory excursions.
