なんと07年の『MAGIC』以来わずか一年にして新作発表！ボス通算24作目は『MAGIC』レコーディング時に更なる創作意欲が沸きもう1枚分の曲を作りあげてしまったという1枚！プロデュース＆ミックスはブレンダン・オブライエン（4作目のコラボ）。アトランタのサザン・トラックス（スタジオ）でレコーディング＆ミックスされNYとLAとニュージャージーで追加のレコーディングがなされた｡
ボス曰く､｢Magic｣のレコーディング終盤､ポップなサウンドに回帰していく自分に興奮し､その後も曲を書き続け、翌年Eストリート・バンドと共にツアーの合間をぬってレコーディングし続けたとのこと｡

この昂揚感は誰にも抑えられない──そんなボスの声が聞こえてきそうな1年ぶりの新作だ。『Magic』で得た勢いを持続させた内容だが、弦楽隊と共に行進する8分強の冒頭曲をはじめ、ゴスペル調のナンバーなど充実曲の雨あられで、メロディーの光り具合は前作を超える。またも飛び出すビーチ・ボーイズへのオマージュなど、往年のロックへの愛情が色濃く出ているのも印象的だ。いまの時代にこんなボスと会えるなんて!
